I hope you enjoy the series, which provides new insights on many of the most notorious figures from ancient times. It was a real pleasure to work with the folks at Blink Films (www.blinkfilms.com).
They had incredible pull with the sky gods, so we had great weather for most of the shoots– though I got fried in Tunisia and Lebanon due to limited cloud cover and a big reflector. Hence the fluctuation of color from decently tan to dark chocolate. Doesn’t say much about my 60spf.
Amidst all of the modern assessment of these individuals (pycho-meter and the like) there are always the ancient sources that we can perpetually glean for further clues about who they were, as well as the locations– where the mute stones do speak.
