About Darius

Archaeologist, educator, social media influencer, traveler. Darius has lived in Rome, Italy for almost 20 years, digging, teaching, and directing the American Institute for Roman Culture. Darius collaborates with the City of Rome museums and the Italian Ministry of Culture. Darius is an experienced TV host and expert.    He’s hosting PBS’ Ancient Invisible Cities on August 29, 2018!  Darius is currently filming throughout Italy Season 2 of Under Italy on Rai5!  Channel surfers regularly come across Darius in documentaries and tv series on History, National Geographic, Discovery, and Travel Channel (appearing on over 50 episodes).
